Miami Real Estate Benefits from Mamdani

While New York just crowned Zohran Mamdani it’s democratic candidate, a self-described democratic socialist whose greatest hits include government-run grocery stores and sky-high taxes for the rich, Florida did what Florida does best: pour an iced cafecito and wait for the New Yorkers to panic.

Florida Republican Governor Ron DeSantis predicted property values in Miami Beach & Palm Beach will "skyrocket" if Mamdani wins the mayor’s race. Within hours of the win, South Florida brokers were getting buzzed by buyers from Tribeca to Westchester. These aren’t snowbird vacationers, they’re families, founders, and fund managers ready to make their primary move.

When New York makes the city unlivable, Miami and South Florida become even more irresistible.

North Beach Levels Up: Continuum’s Big Play Approved

The Continuum Company, yes, the same team behind South of Fifth’s Continuum towers, is officially bringing its brand of glossy, high-design urbanism to North Bay Village. And this isn’t a small play.

Led by developer Ian Bruce Eichner and his daughter Allie, the Continuum Waterfront District will span over 2 million square feet across 3.6 acres, right where Shuckers used to serve shrimp baskets by the water. The plan?
