WGM: Nobu's Big Return, Sunny's NY Times Review, & Water Taxis from the Mainland
The one thing that's not for sale in Miami is taste.
On My Mind: A Point of View is Required
Too much of what passes for “news” in our fair city isn’t news at all, it’s content without conviction. A stream of openings, announcements, and reposts, stripped of perspective. That’s not journalism, it’s not even propaganda, it’s not even good advertising. It’s just noise.
Real news requires that you take a stand. Real marketing demands a distinct point of view. A meaningful life does, too. Without a point of view, all we’re left with is a feed, endless motion without meaning, information without insight.
So don’t be afraid, take a stand. And remember taste is not for sale.

Nobu Finally Returning to Miami with Condo & Restaurant in Brickell
After years of settling for a subpar Nobu tucked inside the Eden Roc, Miami’s prodigal sun restaurant is finally coming home, and this time, it’s rising over Brickell Avenue. Nobu Hospitality has partnered with Miami powerhouses 13th Floor Investments and Key International to create a 74-story, 300-unit Nobu-branded condominium at 619 Brickell Avenue, on the site of the First Presbyterian Church of Miami. Designed by Foster + Partners in collaboration with Sieger-Suarez Architects, the project will include a flagship Nobu restaurant on the ground floor, bringing the brand’s signature Japanese minimalism and refined hedonism back to the mainland.
